The novella is almost done! And it’s all thanks to #1k1hr that I’m having such a fun time whiffling through it.  Who knew that Twitter actually could be helpful? Have you ever tried going to the hashtag for #1k1hr and seeing if anyone’s ready to throw down and write for an hour?  You get bragging rights if you write more words than the other folks who join with you.  I find that I can get around 1800+ words pretty easily, and sometimes 2800+.

I can’t wait for October when the online chapter of RWA does a “write a novel in a month” contest where you join up with your sub-genre (paranormal, historical, etc.) as a team and whale away on a novel each day, earning points for your team as you go.  Now is that fun, or is that fun?
