Who’s excited to go to Ohio? I am, I am!

I’ve done it — I’ve signed up to go to Ohio for Romanticon sponsored by Ellora’s Cave.  It will be my first romance conference, and I’m all set with an appointment to pitch to an EC editor.

I’ve been polishing my fantasy erotic romance novella, (one chapter a day) and I will also have the contemporary erotic romance prepared in case I can pitch that as well.

Thankfully I get to go with Nara Malone, another erotic romance writer, who can show me the ropes to getting a lot out of a conference.  I’m not just excited about pitching my novella, I’m also excited to meet other erotic romance authors and make new friends. I expect to come back from the conference with a hopper full of names to friend on Facebook and follow on Twitter.

Then in October, not only will I be writing my ass off, I’ll be going to New Jersey for another romance conference.  I’ve also joined RWA online –I’m very excited about their October write-a-book contest so I’ll have to post more on that later.  These next two months will be busy but fun!
